About Us


A lovely spot to stay in the Caribbean!

Victoria House, built in the late 18th century, is a recently renovated historic boutique Inn with 9 individual units (7 one-bedroom suites, 2 two-bedroom suites).  Flyers Bar & Grill occupies the property's ground level restaurant. RUFF Night Bar is open in VH Courtyard, Proceeds from Ruff Night Bar are donated to RUFF START STX Animal Rescue.


Victoria House is located in the town of Frederiksted on the West coast of St. Croix (the largest of the three United States Virgin Islands), guests come to enjoy the sunset and the island’s most laid-back vibe. It is a place where you can still imagine life on the islands as it used to be.  Frederiksted is a vibrant traditional Caribbean town with many things within walking distance, including eclectic restaurants, bars, shopping, spectacular beaches, and some of the best scuba and snorkeling in the world right outside our doorstep!

Victoria House features 9 units (11 bedrooms total).  Both the 2nd and 3rd floors of the main building each consist of 3 adjoining units that all can be accessible to each other (if requested by guest{s}) creating multibedroom suites.  This layout allows groups of various sizes to come stay and maintain the group/family atmosphere.  Special rates are available for 'Hotel Takeovers', which includes exclusive access to our courtyard facilities at no extra charge.

Great stay!
Beautiful old building which has been thoughtfully updated. Excellent location close to restaurants and beaches in Frederiksted. Loved drinking coffee on the porch in front of my room while overlooking the water. Restaurant on the first floor had a great atmosphere and great food.

We had an awesome stay at the VH. The location is amazing and very close to restaurants and shops. The manager Brian was extremely helpful eager to assist with any situation. We will definitely stay at VH when we return to St Croix.

The property is beautiful you walk out all of your apartment at the Victoria house and see the Caribbean Sea such beauty and the owner and staff is out of this world and I'm not just saying this you have to experience its friendliness and the welcome that they shared if you don't stay at the Victoria house you are missing out on something wonderful.

My friend and I stayed at Victoria House for one week while on St. Croix and had a wonderful experience! Our room had a small kitchenette, which made it easy to snag groceries, store leftovers, and keep water cool. (The hosts also left us with some lovely snacks and waters upon arrival.) The location is absolutely perfect -- it's a stone's throw from local shops and restaurants and within 30ish minutes walking of a variety of local beaches, like Sandcastle and Rainbow Beach. Fully recommend if you're looking for a low-key and well-located place to stay on St. Croix!

The location is perfect, right across from amazing scuba and snorkel spots, nestled between delicious restaurants and bars. The house is charming, with tons of character, surely not to be missed.
